We, Hanane Messaoudi and Abdelkader Aouribi, are Moroccan students from Université Mohammed Premier in Oujda, currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication and Digital Transformation, a program supervised by Prof. Rachid El Ganbour. We specialize in digital communication, digital transformation, marketing, and public relations.

As part of our academic journey, we had the opportunity to study abroad through the Erasmus+ exchange program at Politehnica University of Bucharest – Pitești Central University in Romania, where we explored new perspectives in digital communication, gained international experience, and expanded our professional and academic horizons. Participating in the POLInnoVenture International Business Plan Competition was a defining moment in our Erasmus journey, allowing us to represent our university at Politehnica University of Bucharest alongside teams from around the world. However, our Erasmus experience went beyond academics we didn’t just study Digital Journalism and Communication Science, a dynamic and emerging field for us, but also gained hands-on experience through an internship at the Erasmus+ International Office in Romania, where we developed their PR and digital communication strategy for 2025.

Additionally, we spent over a month working on a major event in collaboration with five universities, during which we organized a workshop on marketing and digital communication. This event brought together Romanian students and professors from the Commerce and Marketing department, as well as the Vice Dean of the university, fostering valuable discussions and knowledge exchange.

Beyond studies and work, Erasmus gave us the chance to travel across Europe, discover new cultures, and build friendships with people from all over the world. This experience has truly transformed our lives, and we strongly encourage every Moroccan student to take this opportunity. Erasmus is more than just an exchange program, it’s a journey of growth, discovery, and unforgettable memories.
